Off Brand Logo #1

I thought that it was time for myself to come up with a new logo for my shop. I decided to do some research and create a bunch of parody logos as an exercise to see what makes timeless logos successful.

I remember working in my hometown liquor store when I was 14 and drooling over these bottles. Not because of the contents, but holding the custom chrome topped clear bottle with a screen printed logo and copy was breathtaking and one of the reasons I became a designer. Absolut uses proprietary fonts in their logo, but I used futura black condensed and pulled out the custom serifs. I believe the script was hand written when this logo was created, so I found a script that had the same feel.
