Red Sox Scores: August 18, 2017
Game No. 121
Boston used up a good chunk of its bullpen trying to keep the Yankees at bay after starter Drew Pomeranz left the game in the fourth inning. After pulling out to a 3-0 lead, the Sox were beaten back by New York’s offense who scored six runs in the middle innings. Boston answered right back, adding another six runs of their own to retake the lead and end the Yankees four-game winning streak.

For every Red Sox game this season, @Dan Perrera and I are visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. Home games are on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox are always red. Follow the whole project here or get weekly recaps in your inbox.
