Bar Oeste

This logo was created for a bar in Oakland, California that was founded by Mexican and African American women. Bar Oeste ("west") pays homage to the community working together in Oakland, California since the 1940s. The O in the logo represents their passion for Oakland and the arrow line art within is an abstraction of patterns found in both Mexican and African American art. In addition to the brand identity, I also helped the women develop their brand experience within the bar through interior inspiration.
