Conversation Job Application

Being a designer for a job board, I know that applications can be boring and repetitive. I thought that maybe there was a more enjoyable way to apply that wasn't just basic form fields.

What if you just introduced yourself? What if the application was just you typing an introduction and the site would just pull in the form field data?

Using the contentEditable=true attribute I was able to create input fields that had a minimum size for affordance, but would grow as you type.

For a prototype I'm happy with how it came out. It definitely feels much more like you are talking, rather than typing.
