Banconomics Homepage and Logo Design

Here are a homepage design and logo I created for a client whose main audience is community bankers. The client wanted to keep things minimal, so I kept the homepage clean and simple. For the logo, I was inspired by old logos from travel companies like Amtrak and American Airlines. I wanted to invoke a sense of forwardness and nostalgia, which I accomplished with a forward moving symbol and an italicized heavy-weight typeface.
