One of the things that stroked me the most when I was in Japan, was the obsession with cleanness. How there is 2 pillow covers, how many people use the mask, everywhere, even in a dance club. A Japanese friend said it's also kind of trendy, but I wonder how much someone can sacrifice - words, smells, smiles - in order to be germ free.
