Boku no Kazoku: Shio

Personification of our younger cat, Shio.

Shio is still in the late stages of his kitten phase — quite a mischevious little monster. His favorite pastime is to chase Alaska around the house, which freaks us out because he's twice her size. He has a sweet side as well, but it's a rarity and a treat to see it.

My wife named him Shio ("salt" in Japanese) because she loves him as much as she loves salt. His nickname is 魔王様 (Maou-sama), meaning "Devil King" in Japanese.
