Game No. 106

The Red Sox were nursing a two run lead heading into the eighth inning against the Royals but Kansas City promptly loaded the bases against reliever Matt Barnes and scored four times to take the lead. Boston managed to load the bases in the bottom of the ninth but were ultimately stymied by Royals closer Kelvin Herrera.
