WVRST Redesign

A logo I worked on this past year with my fellow classmate, @jordanjackson where we both chose to rebrand the German beer and cider hall, WVRST, in the Constructivist style.

This style was marked by its use of bold sans-serif typography, angled graphic elements, photo collages, and a mainly red, black, and yellow colour palette, which is carried out in restaurant's branding elements. After not being pleased with stock typefaces available, we decided to create a custom typeface for our logo. The mono-weight, mono-spaced forms give a firm rigidity to the letters.
