I have a theory that one of the great inventions of the 21st century will be a solar collector that converts direct sunlight into electricity with 100% efficiency.

I’ve been working on a story about the son of textile mogul who invents this mechanism, and in doing so, upends the energy industry and the entire geopolitical landscape. The working title for this film is Sun Tzu.

Jurassic Park the movie has as much to do with genetics as Sun Tzu will have to do with solar power. Yet genetics went mainstream when we caught our first glimpse of a baby raptor hatching from a manmade egg.

Jurassic Park turned a little-known branch of science into a cultural touchstone. I believe an entire generation of geneticists found their calling from a movie about dinosaurs.

I believe this effort worth repeating.
