The Revolution Will Not Be Vectorized

With everything that's happening in the world today, I can easily feel overwhelmed or even hopeless at times. I think I feel that I have a responsibility to keep things stable, normal, and peaceful. When the world feels anything but, I find a lack of stability, normalcy and peace in my own life.

I've learned, however, that the weight of the world need not be on our shoulders if we put our hands to good use where ever we can. I thought of a term for this, for the way we as artists can engage with and change the world one canvas, poster, wall, song, poem, and film at a time... namely Creactivism.

We artists can also be Creactivists and channel our fear, dismay, and darkness into bright creative light. I designed this badge as a reminder that the pencil is mightier than the sword and the sum of our talent can far surpass the sum of our fears.
