UX: Team whiteboarding

Hey, @folks!

Here was a team whiteboarding session at Meitu headquarters.

I taught the "Crazy 8's" core sprint method. It’s a fast sketching exercise that challenges people to sketch 8 ideas in 8 minutes - usually on folded pieces of paper. However, due to language barriers, we found that larger visuals and collaboration on the whiteboard was easier.

Also usually these ideas are more broad, but being a more pragmatic company culture, I couldn't stretch my teammates too far. So we decided to vote on the most important small interaction problem we were having.

After sketching the Crazy 8's solutions for quantity, voting on the best, and discovering an answer to prototype... the teammate's minds were open, and so the whiteboard began being filled with more discussions and broader concepts about UX methods.

From then on, the team suffered less in silence, and would reach out to run some "Crazy 8's" with their teammates.

Don't forget to press "L" if you like it.

Cheers!
