Yay!

Hey everyone!

So about 158 days ago, I started my 365 daily design challenge. At the time, I had 74 followers and no idea what I was doing. And just yesterday I broke 1000 and have learned to pretend to know what I'm doing. Thank you for all the love and support, and thank you so much for creating beautiful art that I can enjoy as well. <3

To celebrate this little mile marker, I'm giving away 2 Dribbble invites. I'm looking for people that really want to push their design to the next step, and I'm very excited to see what you got. My advice for people looking for invites would be:

1. Make sure your dribbble account has your online portfolios attached. Instagram, Behance, Twitter, a personal website, etc. are awesome places for fellow designers and potential clients to view what you do have. Attaching your personal accounts where people can see what your foodie photos and your 1453 selfies doesn't really help accomplish that, but you do you.

2. Keep creating. Make all the stuffs! Even if it's little doodles on napkins or you've spent months on a huge piece, never stop creating! Ask for feedback, take online courses, try to recreate a piece of work that you love to see how the original artist did it. Stay passionate and share your work with people around you. Get that "can't stop won't stop" attitude about your work, you know you're worth it. ;)

3. Connect with others. No man is an island, and by connecting with fellow artists, you can gain valuable insight into being a creative. Not only that, but there are some absolutely amazing people out there who share a passion with you- encourage them, get excited, share some love!

Rules:

1. Email me at darumacreative@gmail.com your Dribbble and other social media profiles. No follow is necessary to get the invites. Only follow people who truly inspire you, don't be shallow about it.

2. If you collaborate with another artist, that immediately puts you ahead of the pack, and I'll get you both in. :) If you did happen to make a collaboration piece specifically for this, you can email me at darumacreative@gmail.com.

Not sure how to collaborate? You can connect on my Instagram post of this or if you know an artist already, reach out and see if they want to do this to get on Dribbble with you. Don't be scared, designers can't bite through the internet. What can the collaboration be? Whatever you want- UI/UX, icons, illustration, animation, typography, doesn't matter!

I'd really like to thank @Hayden Aube for all the teaching he's provided me and countless others, @Razvan Vezeteu for being a wonderful friend and the person constantly pushing me to create, and my good friend @Andrea Lazzarini for always being there for feedback and emotional support along with everyone else on the Vector Friends slack group. You guys are all collectively bae. <3
