Red Sox Scores: July 16, 2017 Game 2

Game No. 93

After being shut out earlier in the day, the Red Sox decided to return the favor to the Yankees later that evening. Starter David Price dominated, striking out eight over eight innings and earning the win with a little help from Jackie Bradley Jr. who stole a home run from Aaron Judge deep in Fenway’s famous center field triangle. A Mookie Betts homer in the third would be all the Sox would need to get the victory and split the series.

For every Red Sox game this season, @Amy Parker and I will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red.
