But, just like how a coin has a head and a tail, a snake also has commendable qualities such as in Indian mythology, it is an iconography of protection as depicted evidently on Lord Shiva's neck. Why, polygon? Because it's a shape derived from a triangle, which has significance in other art forms such as Yoga."
