The Internet (151/365)

Hello, internet goers. Today is Net Neutrality Day, and for today's daily, I had the privilege of illustrating The Internet. Usually kept on top of Big Ben for the best reception, this is a very accurate rendering that you can observe safely as it hasn't been demagnetized. You might have questions like "Where are the wires?" or "Is it heavy?", but please stop asking silly questions. If anyone can correctly tell me what the little red blinking light is in the comments, I will make you a custom illustration.

To quote Jen (the employee of the month), "Ladies and gentlemen, if anything were to happen to this box, the world as we know it would fall into chaos. Planes would drop from the sky like tables, society would tear itself apart like an angry child with a napkin. Man's primeval instinct to survive at any cost would lead to terrible violence... so please, no flash photography."

So on that note, please take a moment today to inform the FCC your opinion on Net Neutrality. The Elders of the Internet need your help. You can follow the link here: https://www.battleforthenet.com/?utm_source=dribbble&utm_medium=announcement-bar&utm_campaign=net-neutrality-jul12

If you haven't gotten the joke by now, stop reading this and go watch The IT Crowd. It's on Netflix, but if you don't have access to it, here's some quick links.

On final note, I don't make animations very often and I was SHOCKED how naturally it came to me in photoshop. SHOCKED. Photoshop and I are usually giving each other the finger behind each other's backs, and this was the smoothest we've ever gotten along. So maybe there'll be more? Maybe? More animations? Very simple ones as AE gives me crying spells.
