The Editor

As UX design lead on a redesign project for an academic paper tracking system for professional industry articles, I covered multiple user groups.

The editor is a business professional with a creative flair for ideas. Additionally, they need to be educated on many subjects and be able to determine if a manuscript is ready. A manuscript in its final stages must go through editorial review to determine if it will be rejected or accepted for conferences, awards, and company support for filing a patent.
