Love LEGO
I lost count of the number of simulations I ran before the bricks landed in a decent heart shape!
I'm starting to get the hang of Newton 2 for After Effects and I'm realising that animations like this need to be done in sections.
The bricks dropping in was the first simulation - then when I had solved that I took its end frame (i.e. the brick positions) and made another simulation with the LOVE logo dropping in.
Then I sequenced the two together. I also put the Time Divider up to about 5 on both simulations so that the output was super slow, giving me more options for Time Remapping later. It's a learning curve!
