First things first, the music video's amazing. I mean it had no reason not to be when you have Stephen R. Johnson, director of Pee Wee's Playhouse, The Brothers Quay and even Nick Park creating it, so I knew I wanted to some how homage it. Gabriel's jerky stop motion dancing at the end is just so jarring, and with it's very 80's sound, ultra sexual theme and title 'Sledgehammer' (which also brought to mind that 'infamous Huey Lewis scene in 'American Psycho')
I went for an E.C Horror Comics pulpy acid colour/contrast scheme.
Would love to have the window text in gloss for a printed version, as tried to tread the balance of subtle but not obscuring detail and that would fix it in a jiffy.
