The Red Sox bounced back from their loss on Thursday night with three players contributing home runs to the winning effort. Starter Drew Pomeranz pitched effectively, working his way out of a bases loaded jam in the fifth inning thanks to an inning-ending double play started by third baseman Deven Marrero.
