One of my most challenging designs to bring to reality. After all, these beauties qualified me for a national level Wills Lifestyle competition.

I made the ensemble to modernize Indian classical hand-embellished technique called "Applique". After all these years, I am still proud of my creation that used crinkled silk fabric, tied and dyed and appliquéd over torso. The lower bodice uses silk organza sandwiched between silk fabric and embellished with 'kantha' stitch (a technique that is very famous in Kolkata, India).
