iFlix Dashboard (iPad view)

Hello Dribbble,

Here's a shot I've created around September last year when I participated in JomHack hackathon based in KL Malaysia.

We were required to brainstorm a feature idea for the iFlix platform and build it in 24hrs.

The problem:

iFlix buys video content on a regular basis, however, they lack the feedback platform for their customers to easily communicate with them on what type of content they would like to be made available. This prevents iFlix from being able to identify popular content that they may have missed during their content acquisition activities.

The Solution:

The concept behind this feature came from crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter.com. Crowdfunding platforms empower everyday users to choose which projects appeal to them and should be made into a real product. Similarly, any user is able to vote for a movie or TV show that is not yet available on iFlix and get it added to the catalogue.

That was quite an interesting experience, besides the fact that we won the 1st place.
