AE Experiments : 4 Collage

I love the editorial collages by Mike McQuade (http://payload461.cargocollective.com/1/21/677272/11527240/ESPN_6_McQuade_2960.jpg) and wanted to see if I could use some of my randomised After Effects code to make similar patterns happen on their own.

Shape layers are treated with turbulent displacements and roughen edges, while positions for everything else shuffled around the canvas.

The results are a bit glitchy still, but some layouts are coming out OK and looking almost like considered compositions.
