Gesture-based iMessage Concept

Wanted to make a concept iMessage app that was based on gesture controls. These days the buttons on iMessage are a little too cluttered up for my taste. Too many times have I accidentally sent a message and hit buttons that I didn't mean to hit. I think something like this could alleviate those problems. Swipe up to send your message, swipe down to show camera, images, music, and other iMessage apps. A problem at the moment is that you might accidentally send a message while scrolling down. I think if I implemented a certain area of the text bar, say the left-most 30% you can swipe up/down on. Thoughts?
