Hayloft brand

Hayloft is the brand I created for my leather-making hobby.

I started by exploring shapes and ideas behind the meaning of Hayloft for the logo as shown in the sketchbook. I thought about colours closely throughout the process and how I wanted them to reflect the feeling the brand.

With the packaging I wanted something economical but also I wanted it to reflect the effort and quality of the leather and craft. I had cards printed which I then punched and used strips of leather to form a tag. This is then packaged up in tissue and into a cardboard box. I had a custom rubber stamp made to stamp the top of the boxes and a metal stamp made to stamp the leather items.
