The logo represents compassionate action, in that there's no discernible "center" to it and the two parts are equal: because the Great Commandment requires us to "love your neighbor as yourself." The outer border is compassionate action bringing two different (and often opposing parties) together.

Also: the two sections represent the two equal parts of the Great Commandment, and each section presents "private faith" and "the public expression of that faith" respectively, mirroring the two parts of the Great Commandment.

Pink's the colour of compassion, so yay for getting to use pink and millennial pink, as well as the primaries.
