Unrequited Serenade

"Serenades of empathizing the one-sided heart. Open hands, clear eyes."

I was experimenting with photo composition and typography for an imaginary album. I personally shot the converse shoes photo, circle-cropped it, and then used a diamond crop on a beach photo that reminded me of the jeweled sunny beaches in San Diego. Finally I sliced the converse shoes photo, overlaying the beach backdrop.

All this created a nice effect, visually communicating the meaning of the two words above composed images. The symbolism speaks for itself.
