Gander Outdoors Redesign Concept

This is a rejected logo for the Gander Outdoors store redesign. In creating this mark, I wanted to create something that gave the emotion of a cozy log cabin or hunting lodge.

My goals was to design something that set the brand apart from its competitors, but also would seem to resonate with their audience of outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen.
