I love how my paintings and I work together. As usual I had an idea of where this piece was going, I had a sketch and everything. The Agate happened (my previous painting). So my initial concept wasn't working 100% with the new direction my work was heading. However, I persevered with the painting concept and once finished realized that it needed more. So long story short, this painting was flipped 180 degrees upside-down and voila! we have this piece!
