Drew Pomeranz had another great night on the mound, holding the visiting Minnesota Twins to just one unearned despite two lengthy rain delays, including one that pushed back the start of the game. Dustin Pedroia went 3-for-3 and designated hitter Chris Young mashed a three-run homer to help their team take sole possession of first place of the division.
