Ice Cream Rain Postcard

My final postcard for 826 Valencia Tenderloin volunteers. This was the first one I actually designed, but my favorite by far. If only ice cream really fell from the sky.

Over several weeks, volunteers helped elementary school students from a local youth and childcare center write a collaborative story about The Planet of Love. I used lines from the class story to illustrate vintage-inspired tourism postcards. The story itself was so wildly imaginative, funny, and moving. It's incredible to see how younger students would describe the idea of love.
