Alvin Varghese, a good friend of mine gave me the opportunity to work on the Indian edition of the Try!Swift Logo, a venture he was associated with. I was happy to work on this, for the reason that there is no one symbol that we identify with India, there are always varieties and many ways showing Indianness - food, clothing, gestures, festivities. I was very clear I wanted to steer away from religious symbols. Here is one of the explorations I did, keeping the Bharat Maata in mind.
