This sly little concept app appears, at first glance, like nothing more than a simple fully functional weather app. It doesn’t look to have any connection to domestic violence, a super smart feature, when you figure that abusive partners closely monitor their victim’s phone activity. To activate its superpowers, follow the tutorial and add one or more trusted responders—friends and family. Next time you’re in a dangerous situation, tap the “sun icon”. Then 911 will be alerted and your trusted responders are then sent an SOS text alert that you are in harms way.
