Escalating Notification Exploration

We recently had the awesome opportunity to do some work for the Site Integrity Team at Facebook. Their goal is to limit spam and malware from the product, which is something we all care about!

This set of simple explorations is focused on scaling a notification system, with the intent to guide users to check for spam on their accounts.

Originally this experience was immediately invasive, often frustrating the user before they even started the action. We wanted to soothe this by creating a system that would progressively become more invasive the longer users went without checking for spam. This animation is highlighting each step and notification type. What do you think?
