Powow Coasters

This was part of my final project completed during my final year in IADT Visual Communications.

This is Powl, Powow mascot and all around good egg.

Powow is an informative and social resource for like-minded individuals who enjoy listening to quality programming. Not just in the digital realm, Powow is host to visiting programmers to facilitate new podcast recordings and establish this platform as part of the global podcast archive.

The editorial policy ensures a high quality in the recommended programming, a selection process that is currently primarily driven by meta-data and impersonal statistics. This project was borne out of a personal love of talk radio, something I enjoy but have yet to find a definitive resource for. I saw the absence of a trustworthy aggregator as a challenge and an opportunity and with this in mind I created Powow. I sought to create an attractive and easy-to-use platform for people to interact, share and discover. One of the most important considerations was the establishment of trust within the user group which I aimed to attain through the constantly high caliber of programming and a quality-driven editorial policy.
