Covers for the XXXI. International Folk Festival in Getxo

The project consist of the editorial redesign of the «XXXI. International Folk Music Festival» in Getxo (Vizcaya).

Folk music aims to recover and adapt traditional music to the news times. It was wanted to give importance to the visual content trying to transmit harmony and unity throughout the whole.

We can appreciate two of the proposals for the cover in the image. The design of the meaning of «Folk» has been represented with a sheet in the form of a guitar, as a symbol, highlighting the part of the image that carries the strongest identity load. Taking advantage of the natural form of this type of leaves to represent the idea of nature.
