The Dave Ramsey Show Celebrates 25 Years

This year marks 25 years of The Dave Ramsey Show on the radio. To celebrate, the Creative department held a poster contest (which I won!). Below is some information about this poster and the concept behind it.

GUARDRAIL: EXCITING BUT ENGAGING
Anyone who watches/listens to the Show is familiar with everything represented on this poster. I wanted it to look engaging enough to stop people as they pass by, to encourage them to lean in and feel a connection to the design. It’s a poster I hope any fan of the Show would want to hang on their wall as an inspiration and reminder of their financial journey.

INTENTIONALITY
Dave preaches intentionality—in finances and in life. I like to be very intentional about my designs as well. So, I began with 25 boxes in all, to represent 25 years. This was the heart of the design. Then I used “Dave”-isms to fill the boxes; things to connect to the guardrails above and make a connection to the brand and the legacy of Dave Ramsey.
