A Light in Dark Places

So excited to have the chance to develop this brand. A Light in Dark Places is a suicide prevention play festival. It's made up of 4-5 original short plays about the topic. All tickets are donation based and everything is then donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The brand had to feel emotional, energetic, hopeful, positive, and human. It's for a live event so I always feel like there needs to be some energy and spark to the identity. The logos are both hand watercolored and I'm developing a series of watercolored illustrations for the website as well. I think the hand done style feels really human. I chose bright, lively colors and also one deep dark shade because these plays are about going to the dark places and coming back from them and staying alive, seeing the goodness, finding light.
