If you’re an Ilonggo who happens to stay in Cebu for quite some time now, you probably know the humor of Hiligaynon words translated to Bisaya. I’ve personally experienced awkward moments when I mixed them up and ended up saying something that’s completely out of context. While it is exciting to overhear Cebuanos speaking some of our words, the risk of misusing them and embarrassing yourself is also high! Don’t worry, I got your back. I'm writing an article soon :)
