June is LGBT Pride Month and yesterday I attended the Pride Month Kick-Off ceremony at Philadelphia City Hall, where they unveiled the new Pride flag, which now includes a black and brown stripes. “The black and brown stripes are an inclusionary way to highlight black and brown LGBTQIA members within our community"

The ceremony and flag-raising was inspiring, exciting, dynamic, and reflective of the wonderful and diverse LGBTQ population here in Philly.
