Raw: Harsh Realities of the Tenderloin is a book that captures my experiences interacting with African Americans living in the Tenderloin of San Francisco, CA. The Tenderloin is a neighborhood in San Francisco rich in history, culture, and at times, hardship.

Raw reveals the stories behind individuals suffering from crack cocaine and heroin usage. You're able to visualize those stories through the photos, illustrations, and poetry that follow. In addition, there's a website that showcases interviews had with residents and more photography of the area and it's people.
