GAZ – 21 «Volga» (1956)

I present you the project of the first online magazine about life in the Soviet Union, about the basics the country was based on and the things surrounding people of that time. This is a memory of objects of everyday life, of art and fashion, science and technology. The memory of great achievements that once were symbols of an entire era.

The first issue is entitled «LEGENDS ON WHEELS» and talks about various cars — some of them were only available to the elite and served as indicators of wellbeing, some were truly loved by ordinary people as simple and reliable folk cars. Most of those legendary vehicles have almost disappeared nowadays.
