BEST.GG - Live Schedule

We have added a new section “Live” to best.gg. You can check it at http://best.gg/live

On the live page, users can check the schedule for each league. Scheduling filters can be collapsed, allowing users to watch videos and read the game data on the right easily.

There are three types of schedules: past matches, live matches, and upcoming matches. In order to distinguish information clearly, we’ve used a grey background color with dark grey text for the past matches and a white background color with dark text for upcoming matches to maximize contrast and readability.

By using a black color, users can clearly know where they are when they choose a match. I think distinguishing information by background colors is a very effective way of communicating. Overall, we focus on designing schedules based on 3 different types of matches by providing visual cues that users can recognize each matches as live, upcoming or closed.
