30 Days of Gays

Happy pride month everyone! I've decided to challenge myself & show off more of my illustration work in a 30 day challenge. Go follow my new IG account @daddywarhol to see all the updates :)

About the logo I made for this challenge. The 30 is obviously using the pride flag colors. But I decided to blend them into a gradient to showcase that gender & sexuality is a spectrum. Then the type reveals and hides within the form of the 30 because pride month is all about bringing visibility to issues that affect minorities. Also, I recognize that this name is a bit exclusive. I could (maybe should) have named this project "30 Days of Queers/Pride" but this project will be focusing on my personal experiences as a gay man, and I wanted to make the name campy :)
