llustration & animation for True.

Finally dipping my toe into After Effects to bring these little guys to life!
We were looking into the possibility of using a 2D/3D icon style at True to complement our 3D style. I created these based on Isometric Projection, which is a technical drawing style that appears to extrude from a flat 2D plane to form a 3D shape. The forms are (largely) limited to circular shapes to echo the full-stop in our logo. One of the key requirements was that it should be an easy style to recreate, enabling anyone in the design team to create new assets when needed.
The animation is one of my first in AfterEffects. I used this as an exercise to cover off some basics lessons like; using masks, transitions, expressions for easing, and animating paths. More to come for sure.
