Liar's Lake Logo Exploration

So I'm trying to update the logo for my mom's exotic animal ranch, which I originally made in about 2001. It's horrible, and I've learned a lot since then, so I'm working on some updated logo ideas.

I like the bottom one myself, but what do you fine people think?
