After being held scoreless two games in a row, the Mariners returned the favor by shutting out the Red Sox and snapping their six game winning streak. Seattle’s starter Christian Bergman went seven innings, giving up four hits and striking out two. Red Sox pitching got knocked around for sixteen hits but only gave up five runs.
