Choose Locations

I've been reading more and more about the use of emojis and stickers in product design. Here's a great quote that summarizes this: "Emojis will spread through all aspects of our digital lives as they support complex human communication needs that have evolved over thousands of years." (I stole that from this great article: https://goo.gl/vRuZoh)

In this screen, I'm exploring using emojis to support the 'value' each of these neighbourhoods has for the professional viewing this map (the action is tapping the tooltip > selecting the location). I'm most interested in how emoji use can support language, and possibly increase the emotional connection between user + action. With this example, you probably wouldn't see all of these tooltips at once, but I wanted to show more substance in this design :)

The big question is: Pluralized, is it emojis or still just emoji?
