type resurrection

working on a typeface - based on vintage type specimen books.

First time creating a font- I'm using FontSelf - the Illustrator plugin, and Glyphr Studio, for editing. Not the most advanced tools but they are working well on this. Coming from vintage samples, the character selection is pretty low, what is the best way to make sure a font has all of the "correct" glyphs?
