Product Prompt #4 on Product Disrupt Blog

The tech world is changing at an incredible pace and so is the way it works. Product owners have never been as receptive and open to the idea of working with a freelancer or a consultant as they’re now.

Many thanks to the ever-evolving technology and software products, the communication barriers have been shattered like never before. This has also enabled the in-house employees and individual creators to work remotely and take complete control of their time and hence life.

Remote work culture is relatively new and slightly unexplored, but freelancers have been around for some good years now. Even then we see that the product owners get wary of the freelancers when it comes to taking the ownership of the work.

I reached out to a few folks who’ve been working in the digital product industry for quite some time now and also have loads of experience either working with or being a freelancer themselves. This is what they had to say about the question of taking the ownership of the work.

You may read the post here and can contribute with your answer and suggestions.
